Vogue V9246 Pattern Review

The pattern was free with Love Sewing Magazine Issue 68 but it is also available from the Vogue catalogue.  It includes a jacket, pants and a skirt as well as the top pattern I used. A better model would do it better justice plus the pattern on the fabric hides some of the detail in the design such as the yoke and top stitching.The fabric is one and a half metres of viscose purchased for £5 from a stall in Birmingham Rag Market. I pre-washed it at 30 degrees and it did not shrink or lose much colour. I am pleased with the outcome as a top to wear on hot days as it is light  loose fitting  and comfortable. It was extremely easy to make so I am planning another. I am going to make the neck line smaller to hide some of my scrawny neck and I will pull my tummy in when I am being photographed!  Thank you Vogue and  Love Sewing magazine for a useful pattern.
