With thanks to HappyBankky Crafty Mom who has posted lots of tutorials about sewing clothes for 14" and !8" dolls on YouTube, I made four ruffle sleeved dresses this week.
The first dress took many hours as I chose some lining from my stash that frayed faster than I could sew. I also didn't follow the instructions closely enough !
The next three were much faster because I had learned from my mistakes.
Three of the dresses fasten with velcro at the back.
I strengthened the daisy dress back seam with ribbon then used studs. Whether they will hold up to a lot of use I will have to wait and see when my young relatives own them.
